I’m a writer, editor, and brand consultant in New York City. I’m also the founder of Prix Fixe, the first gifting suite that connects hospitality tastemakers with the best brands in food, beverage, and home. Most recently, I was the Senior Drinks Editor at Food & Wine magazine, where I spent ~6 years on staff.

Here are a few work-related things I’ve done and enjoyed (the latter point is critical):

  • Produced the front-of-book (you know, that delightful section with shopping guides, taste tests, and essays) for a legacy monthly print food magazine with over 7 million annual readers.

  • Launched that same legacy print magazine’s first-ever digital vertical for drinks (responsible for SEO strategy, photoshoots, product testing, and producing sponsored/advertiser content packages) and landed stories in front of ~4 million readers in the first year.

  • Earned a Level 3 Advanced Certification (with Merit) in Wine from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET).

  • Consulted for culinary brands (think: cookware, drinks, restaurant reservation platforms) and talent — everything from copywriting/editing to project management to hospitality on-premise strategy.

  • Wrote and edited rapid-response fundraising newsletters for the nation’s largest Democratic PAC during the 2016 presidential election.

  • Served as an on-air food & beverage expert on live television, podcasts, and radio, and also moderated panel discussions at trade events.

  • Built an editorial site and community focused on spotlighting women-owned businesses in the greater Boston area.

  • Managed and grew brand newsletter programs for audiences of 5,000 to 30,000+ subscribers.

  • Connected founders to writers, publicists to brands, and event organizers to talent — this is one of my favorites.
